However, she later revealed that when she started modeling, male models were often offered the 'casting couch' and that such a trend was common.

 

Ijaz Aslam said that at that time he and his old colleagues fought the trend of 'casting couch' and refused to accept such inappropriate demands, due to which they had to lose their jobs.

 

He said that when his friends including him discouraged the 'casting couch', the people of the industry also understood that these boys were not going to come into their hands and then they started being careful with them.

 

It should be noted that in the showbiz and fashion industry the term 'casting couch' is used for sex in exchange for work and several actors in the Pakistani showbiz industry have spoken about this trend in the past.
