It should be noted that in the press conference on Monday, District Police Officer Dir Bala Mushtaq Ahmad Khan had said that Anju had reached Lahore via Wagah border from where she had traveled to Rawalpindi by bus.

Malakand Regional Police Officer (RPO) Nasir Mehmood Sati confirmed the marriage of Indian woman Anju and Nasrullah, while Nikah Khawan Qari Shamroz Khan said that he married Fatima (Anju) to Nasrullah. Along with the marriage, ten thousand rupees and ten tolas of gold were given as a dowry.

Anju is already married and lived with her husband and two children in Bhiwadi, Alwar, India.
